Birmingham is a bustling and vibrant city which has reinvented itself
in the last few years. Arguably, the cities most icon building is the
new Selfridges like a shiny armadillo its innovative and eye catching
design is typical of the cities new heart. The Bullring centre languished
away for many years until its recent refurbishment which has bought shoppers
back to the city centre in their droves. When it comes to retail, Birmingham

boutiques, huge departments stores as well as all the big labels such
as Diesel, MAC and Ted Baker Birmingham really is a shoppers paradise

Things to see and Do
Birmingham has a wealth of things to do and places to visit. Kids will absolutely love Thinktank. Its a science museum, but not as you know it! It is jam packed full of engaging and fun, interactive exhibitions and installations that will keep kids of all ages entertained for hours and they will barely even notice they are learning fun science facts as they go along!
Cadbury world is an absolute must for chocolate lovers; not quite Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, but a fascinating look at how chocolate is made taking you through the whole process right through to wrapping and packaging and of course, whilst you tour the factory you also get free samples of chocolate - what could be better?
The Black Country Museum is a real delight. Historic buildings from all over the region have been moved and then rebuilt at the Museum. Doing this has allowed them to create a tribute a bygone era, celebrating the skills and enterprise of the people from the heart of industrial Britain. Electric tramcars and trolleybuses transport visitors back in time and you can view costumed demonstrations of working life and craftsmen who really make the experience come alive.
Drayton Manor Park is an exhilarating and fun day out for all ages. There is plenty to do for little ones but for thrill seekers, there are plenty of white knuckle, hair raising rides and roller coasters to keep them entertained. As well as an award winning theme park, Drayton Manor Park also has a zoo; the ideal way to unwind after taking in all the fun of the fair. A superb and highly recommended day out.
